I have been on the web since the early 80’s playing Zork and fuckin around with stuff friends at school told me about working from the C prompt using a dial up modem where you put the landline telephone handset in the cradle and listened to the squeak and squawk as you got “online”. Good times.

Yep. Our first "computer game" was nothing but text, and you had to start by uploading the "game" from a cassette player, that fed it into your RAM via a telephone modem. It took around 20 mins to get it on your computer, and it was just text walls, with simple inputs like "Do you want to go up the stairs?" "Yes" "Ascending..."
It really sucks when you image search for "Mongolian girls" and the result is a bunch of AI generated trash.
Yeah, YouTube has started pushing a bunch of fake AI videos that people made, which is pretty pointless too.
