Tilling The Soil, And Planting The Seeds, For The Next Hitler!

I don't mean in the "everyone is Hitler" way, but in the "actual dictator with a mandate" way.

Good ole Uncle Adolf, he sure has brought us a lot of laughs over the years. Who could forget his memorable role in “Springtime for Hitler”? We laughed, we cried, 6 million Jews died. He really exposed his lighter side in “Jojo Rabbit”, a heartwarming tale of childhood innocence, the Gestapo, and the power of friendship in the face of world war and genocide. Proving his dramatic chops in “Downfall”, essentially cemented his name in the Pantheon of Great “Bad” Actors. I could feel the tension in that bunker, just like I was there in person, helping to send the remnants of the Hitler Youth Brigades to stem the encroaching Soviet tide… If only the German people had fought harder!

Just think of it- “World War II, The Sequel, Hitler’s Back Baby! (and this time it’s personal!)”

But alas, we don’t have that youthful Fuhrer of yesterday. No snappy uniforms, no goose-stepping in near perfect unison, no Lugers.

Obviously, we already tried making everybody into a Hitler, and that didn’t work either. Reagan was Hitler, Bush was Hitler, the next Bush was Hitler, Romney was Hitler, McCain was Hitler, Trump was Hitler… LBJ, JFK, need I go on?

So, we accidentally caused Hitler’s death near the end of World War II, and ever since have been trying to raise him from the dead, like a se’ance or VooDoo ritual, by invoking his name a million times (per year?) and doing our level best to turn everyone into Hitler, I guess, so we can kill him again? I’m not really sure, but if he was “Candyman”, we’d have about 20 million Hitlers running about, wouldn’t that be a hoot!

I mean, for a guy so universally hated, we sure spend a lot of time talking about him! They also do an awful lot of documentaries and articles about him, trying to further vilify him: He was an evil occultist, he was crazy from syphilis, he was a drug addict, he was secretly Jewish! (Oy Vey, that’s a multi-faceted one!), he was gay (not good gay like today, but bad gay like in the 1930’s), and the worst one yet… he was a mediocre artist!

But enough about the first Hitler; The last time I checked, he was still dead. Nope, I want to talk about the next Hitler, a real Hitler, and why we will get one!

I’m talking about a Dictator With A Mandate From A Plurality Of The People!!

The conditions in Germany that led to Hitler’s Rise-

Sure, they started it all by losing WWI (well, not really losing it, but having their leadership surrender, which equated to a loss, even though many soldiers believe it could have been won) while domestically, the government, and civic order was collapsing, with starvation hanging in the balance. It was pretty bad. Followed by epic levels of internal political strife, a collapsing German mark, inflation of the like the world has almost never seen, compounded by Treaty of Versailles mandated reparations. Domestic production anarchy, constant challenges to government, by every type of radical group, including communists, and social upheavals that made everyday a struggle, and every tomorrow a doubtful improvement. A thoroughly humiliated population with almost no hope in the future. I could go on almost forever, but there are countless books that detail it all; Most of us already know the basics.

Does any of that sound familiar? Sound like today?

Inflation, Illegal Immigration, Violent Crime, Healthcare Costs, Drug Addiction & Deaths, Homeless People, Domestic Terrorism, Mass Shootings, Trust in Government, Children’s Education, Loans-Debt-Inflation-Effects, Cost of Housing, *let me know when I get to ONE that the wealth of the US population ISN’T worried about!* Excessive Taxation & Regulation, Crumbling Infrastructure, Food Shortages, Food Prices, Gas Prices, World War Potential, Street Gangs, Electricity Blackouts, Grotesque Wealth Distribution, Public Censorship, Federal Spending, Completely Dysfunctional Government at every level…

I think almost all of those are nearly universal.

What would Americans do if a political strongman came along promising to fix much, or all of that? Do you think the people would listen to his message? What if he offered what appeared to be real solutions, and sounded amazingly confident? What if hundreds, or thousands of experts, agreed with his message? What if he was an amazing orator, a dynamic personality, and had a past filled with the type of experience that made everything he described sound perfectly viable? What if he was charming, engaging, passionate, and highly energized?

Can you imagine such a man? What if he was handsome, well spoken, and commanded attention and respect?

I contend that in this moment, with Americans worried about everything that is listed above, coupled with the tired, old, dysfunctional government stooges that currently populate our airwaves, a man like that would garner instant favor!

Perhaps he starts out as a successful State Governor, perhaps with a military background, and then he wins the presidency fair and square. But, is quickly faced with countless emergencies, and the security vacuum created, affords him the perfect opportunity to fill that vacuum. And he proves himself successful in that task.

Then, he starts talking more about the ways he could fix so many of the other problems that plague the minds of most Americans.

Do you think the people would respond favorably?

Well, I do. I think We The people would eat it up! Why? Because we are sick and tired of being sick and tired. We are exhausted from endless problems, but never any solutions! We are disgusted with almost every politician, and the current machinations of government. Let’s not lie to ourselves, NOBODY is following the fucking Constitution anyway, so why would we continue to honor this failed, and flawed system that has brought us nothing but endless crisis, and nothing ever gets fixed!

Seriously! When was the last time the goddamned government actually fixed anything, without making it worse, or causing even worse but different problems? Can you even remember a time? When was the last time the majority of Americans felt good about their future, and the future for their children? When was the last time a majority of Americans felt prosperous and secure? The 1950’s?

What would the average American trade, RIGHT NOW, to see about half of those problems actually erased from their psyche? Hell, what would they trade to just see half of those problems actually get better?

And what would it take to do that? Maybe, just to legitimately try for once? Does anyone believe our government is trying? And if they are trying, why do they fail, at everything, forever and always!? Why can’t they un-fuck anything? A SINGLE THING?

Does anyone believe they aren’t bleeding this country dry for their own wealth, power, and prestige? What would you give to see most of them arrested, tried for their crimes, and sent to prison or the gallows? What would you trade to see an end to Oligarchs running our country, and instead, see the bulk of the population secure, healthy, with future promise and hope?

Would you trade all of Congress? Would you trade the traitor media? Would you surrender 90% of all government bureaucrats?

Is there anything in this country, right now, that is working so fucking well, that you wouldn’t be willing to see it destroyed, just for the chance to see things going better, for once, in your entire life?

Is there ANY aspect of the government that you feel is really working for you?

What if he promised you the ability to own a home, raise you children, feed your family, and live a comfortable life, on a single full time income?

What is he said that he would remove the poisons from our food chain, so that your kids wouldn’t be obese, sick, and autistic?

What if he cleaned up our cities, and rebuilt the infrastructure, and lowered violent crime to nearly zero?

What if he presented a system of socialized medicine that provided good care, was reasonably priced, and removed all healthcare fears from your life forever?

What if he stopped involving us in foreign wars? Sealed our border? Brought back manufacturing to America so that every American that wanted it, could have a secure, rewarding, lifelong union job that would give his family safety and security, the American Dream, while letting him retire before his body is broken and destroyed?

If he made it so that you could have a big family, go on vacations, live well, while your kids were given a great education… and looked forward to a bright future that was even better than yours?

What would you trade for all of that?

I’ll tell you what I would trade- EVERYTHING that this fucked up, shithole country has to offer! Because at the present trajectory, NONE OF US WILL EVER SEE A LIFE LIKE THAT!

And don’t tell me that “it isn’t possible” because we’ve had it before. Before the system was engineered and constructed to take every penny from working men and women, impoverish them, and make them live in fear, and worry, and squalor, with the pending demise of complete destruction hanging over their heads every minute of their lives! Where one serious medical illness could bankrupt them, AND force them to watch their spouse, or child, die, because they couldn’t provide them with adequate healthcare.

That they could lose their job, and thus, their house, their families, their entire lives, at any moment, because they walk such a precarious economic tightrope their whole lives.

Yes, my dear readers, we have tilled the soil, and planted the seeds for the next Hitler; All we need is for him to show up!

And he will.

But don’t worry…

He won’t look like Adolf Hitler. He won’t sound like him, he won’t say the same things that he said, and you will never see the comparisons to him.

But he will come.
