The "Politics of Division" Just Cleaved One Slice Too Many!

Divide and Conquer is a fine ploy, until you errantly divide your own side

Well, dear readers, it’s looks like our Leftist politicians have over-played their hands big time on this one.

Fresh on the heels of it working so well with George Floyd/BLM, Covid/Masks/Vax, and then everybody’s favorite current thing; Ukraine v. Russia, they’ve apparently reached “A Bridge Too Far”. But it was all going so swimmingly for them, because on every topic, “their” side went right along, in lemming like lockstep, changed the profiles pics on their FakeBook pages, and screamed shrill messages at everyone who wouldn’t comply.

Success can be a cruel schoolmarm, because she can teach you some of the wrong lessons, and lead you to believe you command some things that you do not actuallt command.

Case in point- “We must support Israel!”

Well…. small problem. The “Left” must have forgotten that while they were busy radicalizing their constituents a few years ago, they, in their contrarian efforts, convinced a decent portion of their acolytes to support The Palestinians, instead of Israel.

You see, back then, Israel was a little too militant for those, now past tense, “Peaceniks of the Left”, and since they were busy condemning the Iraq War, and the War in Afghanistan, and worrying themselves sick about the potential for Islamophobia after 9/11, they crossed the Israel versus Palestinians Rubicon.

That’s one of the problems with just being a contrarian. You don’t know what you are for, only what you are against, and this binary duality can take you to some strange places.

Case in point- during the course of the anti-Right fervor, a bunch of the “anti-war” Left, accidentally became pro-Palestinians. Go figure! Sometimes people do some research, and cement their views, and refuse to memory-hole everything, and instead, end up with some convictions.

This has mostly been just a minor nuisance, up until now. For the past few years, it was pretty much a dead issue, and nobody cared that “The Squad”, and some other diehard committed Lefties, were banging that drum, because there were no stakes, no crisis, no big deal.

Well, as you can already see, that has ALL CHANGED OVERNIGHT!

Now, it’s critical that EVERYBODY instantly be super pro-Israel, and there is no room for dissent, because if you’ll recall, we pretty much shit on and destroyed the Right to dissent over the past 3-4 years, enforced with cancel culture and societal shaming.

Great job with all that, by the way, well played.

But now? It’s suddenly a tad inconvenient that so many Lefties are still pro-Palestinians. Oh, and so is most of the actual Muslim world, and so are all those “Nazis” that you’ve been so worried about. Looks like most of Africa is too, and Russia, and Turkey… I’d call that inconvenient.

Now that all those Middle Eastern Muslims, Africans, and other “refugees” that the Left so willingly welcomed, have “come out of the closet”, all “Loud and Proud” about their support for Hamas (very vocal support, like chanting “gas the Jews”, and cheering when they hear the Israeli body count) and their hatred for Israel, and while you are trying to rally the troops around that whole “We gotta support Israel!” message, while you also have so many of your Lefty friends joining the fray…

Oh, that includes BLM! How fucking embarrassing is that? The fucking Nazis and BLM agree with the message “Fuck Israel”, and just broke your whole goddamned paradigm!

Yeah, that’s right, it isn’t just AOC and “The Squad”, and a bunch of Leftist academics, it’s a large part of your base, plus the refugees that you welcomed, plus The Nation of Islam, BLM and Antifa, and the anti-Jew Nazis, and the entire Muslim World, and fucking Russia! Turkey! Did you see that rally of Somali’s in Dearborne!?

It suddenly appears that you cannot use the “politics of division”, infinitely, and irrespective of what your base thinks.
